Lost youth: What other topic (besides sex) has generated so much forlorn rhapsodizing by all those ’40-something’ men and women who remember their 20s as just one long non-stop orgy — interrupted only to make a run to the store for more beer (which, somehow, seemed a lot better back then, didn’t it?). If only it were possible to bring back those blissful days … Sounds like a porno plot in the making to us. And presto! Here we have Forever Young with Nick East as a man in mid-life crisis who spends his wealth in an attempt to recapture his youth, and the fruits of youth — like the non-stop sexy Asia Carerra, with whom the Nick shares a passionate but tender bath tub interlude. While this is a very carnal and heated movie, it is also a film with a sense of humor and a sense of romance.
