Magical Transformation: Holiday Creature

I've made a mistake and forgotten a Christmas gift for a special little one in my life. I need to be the cool witch though so I know what I need to do- I'll pop up a human and transform them into a cute little creature to be loved and played with for the holiday season!

Poor human, I manage to get you (POV). I explain the situation but you don't seem pleased. I understand, but a witch has to do what a witch has to do... so we begin despite your protestations. We try all sorts of creatures- meowing, clucking, grunting and more before settling in on the perfect one. We weigh the pros and cons, discussing your new life before it's finally all settled.
