Secretary's Painful Heels

Custom order. I'm at work as a secretary, receiving customers, organising files and serving odd hot beverages. I'm always facing our company's clients and that's why it's important for me to be on my feet most of the day, ensuring everything runs smoothly when I'm not assisting my boss. However today I'm wearing ballet flats that keep rubbing my feet & heels. I try to keep a straight face but the pain is too great so I barely manage to walk around. There are seats but my boss will be so mad if I sit down. Maybe I can simply pop my heels out of these flats and turn them into slippers. Oh no, my boss is coming and she doesn't look happy at all! I show here where it hurts but my swelling heels are unacceptable. My boss decides to task me to clean the floor, for which I'm a little grateful - at least I won't need to be on my feet. After a long day and finally home, I get to place some ice on my sore heels - aaaah what a pleasant relief!
